Let us draw inspiration from the successes of our colleagues to turn in more outstanding performances for the organisation in the years to come.

Love and enjoy what you are doing. Treat the business as if it were your own. Putting in hard work alone does not guarantee success. You have to have an interest in and an understanding of the organisation’s business.

Never give up. If you cannot get through a problem, go over it. If you cannot go over it, go under it. If you cannot go under it, go round it. If all else fails, review your game plan quickly, and change course.

Do the right thing from the very beginning. Do not avoid problems. Treat problems and challenges you encounter as opportunities to learn and improve. You will become a more experienced and better person in the process.

The Customer Rules
Recognise that customers give us our livelihood. Without customers, Far East Organization will not be able to survive. We must be sensitive, responsive, and flexible to the needs and rhythm of our customers. We must serve our customers with our heart. Try to understand and empathise with our customers’ problems as if they were our own. We will be more effective in our dealings with them.

I would like to see Far East Organization bring our products onto a new plane, where we are able to continue satisfying the new desires of the market, and where the FEO name will be etched on our customers’ minds as their Developer of Choice.

Unity is Strength
FEO is multifaceted. It is a name, a dream, a vision, one organisation yet many companies - but it is intrinsically the sum of its people.

It is a place that allows us to learn, develop and contribute as a team. Unity, which is also one of our core values in BUILD, is one of our greatest strengths.

We share a common destiny. We have collectively embarked on a never-ending journey of learning and improving. I hope all of us can share and exchange knowledge and best practices so that we can become more effective and efficient for the business. There must be participation from everyone in the organisation to re-look at work processes and initiate improvement programmes.

Belief
Many of us have witnessed the transformation of Far East Organization from a developer that was once known for its “quantity”, to one that is recognised today for its emphasis on “quality”, “brand” and “people”.

15 years ago, no one would believe that Far East Organization would win four internationally acclaimed Fiabci Prix d’Excellence awards, sweep the most number of BCA Construction Excellence Awards in one year, build an international five-star hotel.

But we did it and we can do it again.

Today, FEO is an organisation with tremendous assets and opportunities. They are at our command to enable us to respond effectively to the business. We are at a much more advantageous position compared to many others in the marketplace.

If we believe that we can do it, we will learn and grow in the process. Rewards will find their way to us.

Let us choose to believe we can make the difference.

The journey isn’t over. The sky is the limit. It is time to reach for the next dream for the best is yet to be!
