| Far East Organization is a proud
sponsor for this year’s National Day Parade.
120,000 tickets were collected at Far East Square,
the official NDP collection venue, over a span of
12 days, from 28 June to 9 July 2003.
To create a festive mood for the lucky winners
who came to collect their tickets, Far East Square
also organised a Trade Fair and Flea Market. |

| The human is joined hand-in-hand
to form the Singapore Island to symbolise that Singapore
is being built by a multi-racial society with its
people working together to unify a strong and cohesive
nation, where every Singaporean matters. The different
sized human structures represent Singaporeans from
all walks of life, diverse in age, race and profession,
living harmoniously as one united people. The human
structures also look like multiple stars, representing
many dreams that will bring about many aspirations
for A New Singapore. The 3D design is a refreshing
approach that will make the Logo more appealing.
The Red colour represents universal, brotherhood
and equality of man whilst the White colour represents
purity and virtue. The crescent moon represents
a young nation on the ascendant and the five stars
stand for the nation’s ideals of democracy,
peace, progress, justice and equality. The Logo
is accompanied by the NDP Tagline “Together,
A New Singapore”. |
