The Building and Construction Authority (BCA)’s mission is “to develop a technologically advanced and competitive construction industry which serves Singapore’s economic needs”. It seeks to enable the industry to deliver world-class buildings and infrastructure with the most cost effective and productive methods. The BCA Construction Excellence Awards and Best Buildable Design Awards recognise projects that have demonstrated leadership, innovation and sustained efforts in achieving construction excellence and efficiency in the development process. The winners are selected after rigorous and stringent consideration by the Awards’ Assessment Committees comprising senior representatives from statutory boards, tertiary institutions and leading industry professionals from various disciplines.
