week stay at Cairnhill Towers. Everyone, from the cleaning
staff to the security guards, were very cheerful, friendly,
and always quick to help. Because we were travelling
with two small children, their assistance was really
appreciated.
“Of special mention, we wanted to express our
gratitude to Livia Choo, Hospitality Services Officer.
Livia was a delightful person and brightened up the
whole complex. Her flexibility, efficiency, and service
were of a level I have not seen in hotel staff in my
frequent travels to Singapore over the last three years.
She was prompt and helpful in following up any questions
we had and always went out of her way to do a little
bit extra. With service like that we will certainly
be back.”

“I was back late and found that my classmate
had locked me out of our apartment by accident. I tried
calling her on her mobile but it was turned off. I rang
the doorbell but drew no response.
“I went down to the lobby to call up to the room
only to recall that only the day before I took out the
telephone line in her room in order not to disturb her.
No wonder she did not pick up my calls.
“At this moment, the gentleman on duty, Suresh
s/o Chendu, helped me out. He tried to open the door
for me. After a few unsuccessful attempts, he opened
another room for me for a short sleep since I will be
checking out the next morning at around 8am. He is even
so considerate as to bring me new towels.
“I just want to write this letter to recognise
all he did and wish him good luck and all the best.

“The time has come for us to move back to Sydney
and it breaks our heart to leave you all behind. From
the first day we moved in, you showed and gave loving,
caring and friendly service not only to us, but also
to our friends and relatives. You made us feel at home,
Our Home Away From Home. We will miss you all, from
the manager to the security, engineering, housekeeping
and front office staff. All of you made us feel loved.
“We also wish to thank Mustafa who has put up
with my complaints. I know I was a pain sometimes (but
just a little). Front Desk for the network, Geraldine
Teo and Kew Wai Leong. The security staff for the way
they always say hello no matter what time or day it
was.

attention to the most outstanding service we received
from Brenda Chung, Ahmad bin Basuni, Alice Lim and my
adopted daughter Julie Wee with her sweet voice and
helpfulness. Brenda has handled my complaints in the
most professional manner. Ahmad has always managed to
solve my husband’s picture-hanging problems. Alice
made sure our home was always clean. Many thanks to
Irene Lim who has made us feel important and thanks
for the lunch. Special thanks also goes to my dearest

"On Wednesday morning I had to drop in to Wisma
Atria to pick up a bouquet of flowers for a wedding
ceremony that I have to attend later that morning.
"As I was rushing for time, the bellhop at Orchard
Parksuites (OPS), Hamdan Hamzah, kindly allowed me to
leave my car at the service road outside the lobby.
Unfortunately, after picking up the flowers, a heavy
downpour prevented me from getting back to my car. I
had to call OPS front office for help as I couldn't
wait for the rain to stop as the time for the start
of the wedding ceremony was drawing close.
"Your staff Kew Wai Leong came immediately with
umbrellas and got himself thoroughly drenched. He took
my car key and went back to OPS and drove my car over
to Wisma so that I wouldn't get drenched. The umbrellas
would not have helped because of the heavy rain and
gusty wind.
"I am grateful to both Hamdan and Leong for going
out of their way to assist me when I was caught unprepared
in an urgent situation.
"You must be very proud to have such commendable
service people under your charge."
