
Sino Land has been named the 'Overall Most Improved
Company for Best-Management Practices 2004' in the latest
Best Managed Company poll of Asiamoney.
The poll invited investors and analysts from leading
fund-management firms, hedge funds and brokerage firms
in the region to nominate companies for different 'best'
categories. In the ‘Overall Most Improved Company
for Best-Management Practices’ category, 62 companies
were nominated and Sino Land was rated the overall best.
In this category, companies being nominated must have
achieved remarkable improvement over the last 12 months
in the following areas: corporate strategy, financial
management, annual report, focus on shareholder value,
operational efficiency, investor relations and web site.
Sino ranked first in corporate strategy, financial management
and focus on shareholder value.
Mr Thomas Tang, Chief Financial Officer of Sino Land,
who accepted the award at a recent presentation ceremony
hosted by the Asiamoney said, “The result indicates
that our dedication to stringent standards in our products,
services and management has been widely recognised.”
Mr Tang thanked Asiamoney and all of those who rated
Sino Land the ‘Overall Most Improved Company for
Best-Management Practices’, pledging that the
company would continue to review and improve the quality
of its products and services in order to achieve the
high standards the Group set for itself. Mr Tang also
praised Sino Land's staff, saying the award would not
