Sino Land has been named the 'Overall Most Improved Company for Best-Management Practices 2004' in the latest Best Managed Company poll of Asiamoney.

The poll invited investors and analysts from leading fund-management firms, hedge funds and brokerage firms in the region to nominate companies for different 'best' categories. In the ‘Overall Most Improved Company for Best-Management Practices’ category, 62 companies were nominated and Sino Land was rated the overall best.

In this category, companies being nominated must have achieved remarkable improvement over the last 12 months in the following areas: corporate strategy, financial management, annual report, focus on shareholder value, operational efficiency, investor relations and web site. Sino ranked first in corporate strategy, financial management and focus on shareholder value.

Mr Thomas Tang, Chief Financial Officer of Sino Land, who accepted the award at a recent presentation ceremony hosted by the Asiamoney said, “The result indicates that our dedication to stringent standards in our products, services and management has been widely recognised.” Mr Tang thanked Asiamoney and all of those who rated Sino Land the ‘Overall Most Improved Company for Best-Management Practices’, pledging that the company would continue to review and improve the quality of its products and services in order to achieve the high standards the Group set for itself. Mr Tang also praised Sino Land's staff, saying the award would not have been possible without their hard work and dedication.
