An outdoor rave party in Singapore’s premier shopping strip, Orchard Road, is a rare occurrence. A ground shaking, thumping, groovy, sexy rave party at LevelOne, one of the most popular youth hangouts in Singapore, is one party that you just should not have missed.

LevelOne, Far East Organization’s youth mall, hosted a rave party to celebrate the launch of its loyalty card, LVL1, on 3 April 2004 Saturday, from 8pm to 11pm at the shopfront sidewalk of Far East Plaza.

More than 700 members and friends turned up to shake and groove down to the music spun by celebrity DJs Koflow and Rough. Koflow and Rough, praised as the future of Singapore’s DJs, set the hearts and souls, not to mention the bodies, of the party-goers moving.

In between grooving to the music, members of LVL1 card cheered on Triple Noize with their ultra cool attitude and red-hot rap. And their enthusiastic support decided who were the hottest hunk and babe in the R U Hot? contest. Two lucky LevelOne members won premium tickets to 5566 concert and a couple more won the latest computer games – Counter-Strike: Condition Zero.

The favourite expression of LVL1 members, fashion, was also given a presence at this party in the form of a fashion show featuring streetwear from 77th Street. And the first 100 who came in expressions of all preppy pink and blazen blue were given a $20 voucher to spend at their favourite LevelOne outlets.

LVL1 loyalty card is not just a card that offers members privileges. With LVL1 card, LevelOne will not just be a place where youths go to hangout but to express their individualities, through fashion, through attitudes. With LVL1 card, technology savvy youths will also hangout at www.levelone.com.sg where all card members have a personalised webpage. The cool graffiti wall of LevelOne will not be the only place where these youths leave messages and express their souls, they will now have an alternative location to chill out with like-minded friends.

LevelOne is a popular youth haven modelled after Japan’s fashionable Shinjuku and Harajuku districts but infused with its own distinctive local flavour.

Located at Far East Plaza, LevelOne was launched in December 2002. It has over 80 outlets featuring eclectic fashion focusing on chic street and casual wear along with accessories and enhancements.
