Medi-Rad, a major radiology clinic operator, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation, a non-profit charity organisation, will be setting up treatment facilities at Novena Medical Center, our new $257 million development in the emerging medical hub in the Novena area, which is targeted to be up in mid-2007.

Medi-Rad, a wholly owned subsidiary of Parkway Holdings Limited, will operate a $5.5 million radiology clinic of over 6,000 sq ft on the eighth floor of Novena Medical Center.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation's 1,486 sq ft centre is the first in Singapore to be dedicated to the treatment of life-threatening blood related disorders. To support the Foundation's efforts, Far East Organization has made a contribution of $250,000 to help fund patient treatment costs at its new Leukemia & Lymphoma Treatment Centre.

Novena Medical Center has 145 well designed and efficiently configured medical suites located over four levels. Over 72 per cent of its 108 medical suites released have been sold. Far East Organization has set aside the remaining units in the medical centre for lease. This is to allow for future expansion of facilities and services to support the growing requirements of Novena Medical Center's medical specialists.

Novena Medical Center is integrated into a commercial development Square 2 that offers five levels of over 300 trendy retail outlets, chic cafes and elegant restaurants.  Square 2 has immediate passage into the Novena MRT Station. Novena Medical Center is connected to Tan Tock Seng Hospital via an air-conditioned link-bridge with travellators on its third level.
