Central’s 200,000 square feet retail mall within a landmark $500 million integrated live-work-play development along the Singapore River, will be managed by PARCO (Singapore). Sitting directly above the Clarke Quay MRT station, the retail podium will be a contemporary, hip meeting place for young globalised urbanites with refined tastes and a keen sense of individualism. The mall will have a discernible urban chic, free spirited character as seen in Odaiba, Japan’s well-known futuristic shopping and nightlife hotspot in the Tokyo bay area distinguished by its range of original, avant-garde Japanese designer brands. More international fashion and lifestyle brand names will be infused into Central for a cosmopolitan, urbane shopping experience.

Central has 600 shop units which are spread over five levels with a unique theme on each level. Far East Organization’s highly successful, energetic, youth-oriented concept at Level One at Far East Plaza will be further refined and transported to Central to cater to a wider group of fashion-conscious consumers. From fresh gourmet produce and trendy takeaway counters at the basement to eclectic high street fashion and artistic accessories, from progressive lifestyle accompaniments to classy restaurants, al fresco cafes and wine bars, each level offers a unique experience to be savoured against the backdrop of a class-of-its-own riverfront lifestyle.
