Singaporeans have decided.

For one month last year, from 15 October till 14 November, Yeo Hiap Seng ran a nation-wide contest together with 7-Eleven, to pair the best of Yeo’s Asian drinks with Singaporeans’ best-loved dishes.

And the result of Singaporeans’ votes are: Satay goes really well with Winter Melon Tea or Soy Bean Milk; Roti Prata should be eaten with Grass Jelly Drink or Soy Bean Milk; Lemon Barley Drink or Ice Green Tea complements the spicy flavours of Laksa; Lychee Drink or Ice Green Tea adds to the subtle flavour of Fishball Noodle; at hand with Chay Kway Teow should be a can of Winter Melon Tea or Ice Lemon Tea; and the perennial favourite among locals, Chicken Rice, is best savoured with Chrysanthemum Tea or Lemon Barley Drink.

Winners won lucky draw prizes totalling $21,000.
